Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is hosting a Government Contracting Matchmaker event to help small businesses interested in doing business with the government meet one-on-one with contracting officers and key personnel from over 20 government agencies and prime contractors. The event will also give attendees the opportunity to hear from guest speakers on various topics including teaming and joint ventures.

Some of the participants are: Small Business Administration, General Services Administration, The Maine Division of Purchases, The Maine National Guard, Veterans Administration (Togus), Natick Army Soldier Center, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bath Iron Works, Cianbro Corporation, City of Lewiston, City of Auburn, MaineDOT, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portland International Jetport, The Lane Construction Corporation, Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Sysco Northern New England, URS Corporation, the Defense Logistic Agency - Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Energy East/Central Maine Power and Atlantic Defense Company, LLC and Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc.

Pre-registration is required for this event and there is a limit to two representatives per business. Details are below:

Agenda

  7:30 a.m. - Registration/Coffee & Muffins

  8:00 a.m. - Doors open to sign up with primes/government agencies

  8:30 a.m. - Morning welcome - coffee/light breakfast

  9:00 a.m. - Transition to Matchmaker

  9:15 a.m. - Matchmaker begins

12:00 p.m. - 1 hour lunch/Networking (included in day's event)

  1:00 p.m. - Matchmaking resumes

  3:00 p.m. - Wrap up and session end
